Our ideal VP of Sales will be a catalyst for Keytel Systems / Unvail’s continued growth. You will play a critical role in shaping and executing the sales strategy, building out a team that is focused, engaged, and achieving ambitious targets. You will create success through the creation of a variety of processes, training, streamlined workflows, and SOP’s. The sales team will flourish under your combination of orchestrating talent and robust system implementation. Your leadership will inspire results, optimize efficiency, and help Keytel Systems / Unvail expand its market presence. This role will have a significant impact on our success and will require a leader who can both execute and inspire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the VP of Sales position include, but are not limited to:
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Drive Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans, including building out a high-performing sales team. Act as a "player-coach," responsible for driving sales directly while hiring, training and developing team members.
- Sales Process & Metrics Ownership: Establish, document, and continuously improve sales processes, ensuring they are scalable and trainable. Track and report on key performance metrics, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds targets.
- Build & Structure Sales Team: Design the team structure, recruit top talent, and establish a strong sales pipeline. Create a culture of accountability and high performance across the team.
Market Intelligence & Networking
- Leverage Market Insights: Gather and analyze market intelligence to shape sales strategies and provide insights into customer needs, competitive landscape, and opportunities.
- Networking & Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, partners, and stakeholders. Attend relevant conferences and networking events to promote Keytel Systems / Unvail’s visibility.
Sales Process Ownership & Improvement
- Ownership of Sales Challenges & Resolutions: Take full responsibility for overcoming sales challenges and providing solutions. Drive process maturation and improvement through knowledge sharing across the team.
- Pipeline Management: Establish and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, ensuring a constant flow of qualified leads and strategic opportunities.
** This is a remote position based in Columbus, OH area. **
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 3-5 years of success in sales leadership, driving team and organizational growth
- Experience building and leading successful sales teams
- Expertise in selling professional services to large user bases
- Background in mid to large-scale organizations or building teams for them
- Strong public speaking and engagement experience
Preferred
- MBA or relevant industry certifications
- Familiarity with managed services or IT security.
- Understanding of business operations and processes.
- Experience at industry conferences and delivering presentations.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
Desired
- Track record of scaling multiple sales teams.
- Ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies.

Salary: $140K - $160K + bonus
