BLUEBIRD FENCE

GENERAL MANAGER

THE PERSON

Do you excel at turning vision into structured execution across crews, schedules, and customer commitments? Do you enjoy working closely with a founder or visionary leader to turn strategic goals into clear plans, team alignment, and real results? Are you ready to lead a growing construction business with clarity, confidence, and operational precision? If you thrive in the office as a systems-driven leader and take pride in keeping the business engine running for the field crew, we want to talk to you!

Our ideal General Manager is:

  • Assertive: You are confident in your decision-making and unafraid to take the initiative. You step in when direction is needed and guide the team with clarity and conviction.
  • People-Centered Leader: You lead with empathy, respect, and genuine care, building a culture rooted in trust and support.  Whether you’re connecting with a field crew or aligning with senior leadership, you foster strong, lasting relationships through consistent communication and meaningful engagement. Your ability to create loyalty and connection shines through in everything you do.
  • Consistent: You are steady, dependable, and lead by example. Your team knows what to expect from you because you deliver with discipline and follow through every day. Your reliable leadership ensures that progress isn’t just initiated, it’s sustained.
  • Direct and Compassionate Communicator: You’re not afraid to address issues head-on and understand the importance of confronting problems to protect team health and business success.  You approach tough conversations with honesty, tact, and professionalism, valuing transparency, accountability, and alignment throughout.

Our ideal General Manager leads with structure, precision, and intention. You balance people, process, and performance with confidence and humility. You create accountability without ego, build culture through consistency, and drive results by developing others rather than simply directing them. In this role, you will serve as the operational force that powers BlueBird Fence’s next chapter of growth by empowering people, refining systems, and turning strategic vision into measurable outcomes.
