RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities of our Sales Director include, but are not limited to:

Leadership, Management, and Accountability

  • Assess, redesign and implement the company’s sales department structure and strategic sales strategy to be primarily focused on acquiring new customers and new sales, while continuing to cultivate and maintain key existing accounts and stakeholders
  • Identify new markets and new sales opportunities and create and implement strategies to pursue them
  • Hiring, firing, training, coaching and professional development for the company’s sales team
  • Establish annual sales goals and defined trackable metrics and KPIs for the sales team
  • Prepare sales projections and budget, as well as advise the CEO on the marketing budget
  • Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to meet and exceed metrics, holding them accountable to their numbers
  • Create internal reporting and forecasts to make data-driven decisions, determine resource allocation and drive performance
  • Review and expand upon sales training programs
  • Assess current sales processes and procedures to manage and further develop the company’s Sales Playbook, continually analyzing and adjusting tactics to improve performance
  • Leverage the company’s CRM, marketing and analytic platforms to provide feedback and adjustments to the overall sales strategies
  • Participate in L10 meetings and implement EOS methods within the sales team
  • Be the escalation point for the Sales Team
  • Research, monitor, accumulate and document competitor and customer information to inform pricing and sales strategies
  • Partner with outside marketing agency to create initiatives and determine ROI, lead generation, review current campaigns, analyze website statistics and optimization to drive sales
  • Present internal sales reports to company management as necessary for weekly and periodic meetings


*This is a full-time in person position operating out of the Painesville, OH offices.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Sales in made-to-order/customized job shop environment
  • Fabrication or manufacturing experience
  • 3 – 5 years of sales leadership experience in managing teams
  • Proficient in data analysis, interpretation and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of sales process, buyer behavior and consultative selling

Preferred

  • Sales experience in the packaging distribution industry
  • Packaging engineering experience
  • Has developed sales programs previously
  • Experience developing sales teams
  • Experience in a company running on EOS

Desired

  • Understanding of foam fabrication processes
  • Knowledge of technology tools such as ERP and CRM packages to streamline the sales process and enable ready generation of KPI
