RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Director of Sales include but are not limited to:

  • Drive sales to achieve targets in close ratio, average ticket price, membership, retention, and overall market share
  • Manage membership sales strategy, optimize sales processes, identifying and addressing gaps with the operations team
  • Oversee annual, quarterly, and monthly sales budgets, conducting analyses and forecasts in collaboration with the Integrator
  • Lead and develop sales team, focusing on succession planning and high technical product knowledge through specialized training
  • Coach team members on the sales playbook and hold them accountable for results
  • Identify content for and lead trainings that support the overall sales strategy, providing necessary sales tools
  • Lead weekly sales leadership meetings, daily huddles, and one-on-one sessions with team members to drive performance and alignment, ensuring sales processes are follow by all
  • Strategically expand sales team with recruiting team to support growth
  • Provide feedback for marketing and promotions to enhance sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with procurement team on communication with manufacturers and distributors regarding product availability, pricing, and new services
  • Network to expand into new markets and gain industry insights
  • Stay updated on industry trends and maintain cutting-edge product knowledge for the team
  • Manage financing relationships and rebates to optimize sales opportunities

 

** This is a full-time, in-person position based in Burnsville, MN. **

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience (director level or above)
  • Experience managing 5+ direct reports
  • B2C sales experience
  • Sales budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Experience within a small or medium sized company
  • Leadership training experience
  • Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

Preferred

  • Collaboration with Advertising/Marketing teams
  • Trade experience (construction, roofing, solar panels, etc.)
  • Experience with monthly recurring revenue sales
  • ServiceTitan experience
  • Experience managing teams across multiple locations/markets

Desired

  • B2B sales experience
  • Direct door-to-door sales experience, and/or management of door-to-door salespeople
  • Involvement in peer groups/networking groups
  • Continued professional development
  • Progressive growth within one company

Salary:

  • First Year: $100k - $150k base plus monthly sales commission
  • After First Year: $80k - $100k base plus monthly sales commission AND profit sharing
