The job responsibilities of the Tax Director include, but not limited to:

Within the first 30 days:

  • As a part of the leadership team, you will gain knowledge on firm management, tax department oversight and future ventures/successes for the firm
  • Create or co-create thought leadership content such as articles (industry related), webinars etc.
  • Create a clear communication strategy and direction for internal staff
  • Works to create departmental monitoring strategy for utilization and profit margins including pricing structure

Within 60 days:

  • Develop network contacts and resources
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinates outsourcing options
  • Demonstrates McClintock and Associates core values daily
  • Balance appropriate workload for each staff member, providing opportunities for growth and development while remaining true to our core values

Within 90 days:

  • Works to create strategy to retain current business relationships with focus on high customer value
  • Oversees workflow, software usage, and tax process
  • Owns client tax planning and customer service
  • Stays current on tax organization knowledge and skills
  • Willing to provide timely feedback to staff and clients
  • Develops staff and coordinates departmental training



  • 5+ years people leadership experience
  • 10 years’ experience in the public accounting industry
  • CPA
  • Corporate and individual tax services experience


  • Masters in Tax
  • Business development experience

The Tax Director position is a hybrid position headquartered in Bridgeville, PA. (RELOCATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE)

Salary: $160k-$180k
