FENCING SPECIALISTS

GENERAL MANAGER / INTEGRATOR (COO-LEVEL)

Are you a builder? A charismatic, team-oriented, analytical leader with a heart for people - from the yard to the networking event? Do you see the value in every person and know how to create buy-in without the politics? Can you bring maturity, presence, and polish to the table, while helping a visionary leader’s big heart and big vision become reality? If this sounds like you, we want to talk!

Traits that matter here:

  • Positive: thick-skinned, steady under stress, able to keep people moving forward even when change is hard
  • Grounded: Emotionally intelligent, doesn’t take things personally, leads with facts and fairness even when others resist
  • Professional maturity: carries confidence and presence, challenges with tact, earns trust by showing up consistently and following through
  • People champion: sees the worth in every employee, reinforces mutual respect, embodies the culture of “first-class” in every interaction
  • Analytical: curious and fact-driven, digs for root causes, builds solutions that last
  • Gets it: understands what it takes to lead in a growing small business — hands-on, all-hands-on-deck, finding ways to bring wins across the team while keeping culture strong

At Fencing Specialists, you’re doing more than keeping the trains running. You have the opportunity to stand beside a visionary owner who has poured everything into her people and her company - and to carry that torch forward. This role blends internal leadership with external presence: steadying the ship, championing the culture, and bringing the professional polish that represents a female-led, first-class fencing company with pride in the community and confidence in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you’ll be both hands-on and high-level; tackling today’s fires while laying the groundwork for tomorrow’s growth. You’ll meet the team where they are, while driving the accountability, systems, and presence of a company operating at $20M and beyond.

  • Champion company culture, reinforcing respect, unity, and the “first-class” standard in every setting
  • Serve as the spokesperson and professional presence of Fencing Specialists at community and industry events
  • Build strong partnerships - with the Visionary, with leaders across departments, and with employees at every level
  • Drive vision forward by translating big ideas into practical, scalable solutions in staffing, technology, and processes
  • Ensure the right people are in the right seats, coaching and aligning talent to support company-wide progress
  • Hold every leader and department accountable for results, ensuring follow-through and clarity
  • Create and refine SOPs and cross-department handoffs to improve consistency and communication
  • Oversee physical expansion projects, including inventory controls, material management, and new service offerings
  • Manage budgets, P&L, forecasting, and reporting with construction-specific rigor
  • Lead technology and software upgrades that enhance reporting, financial analysis, and operations
  • Identify and implement opportunities for growth, such as temporary fencing, decorative options, expanded fabrication, and new territories

**This is a full-time, onsite position out of North Las Vegas, NV. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.**

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years at the director level or higher, within organizations of $15M+ revenue and 50+ employees
  • Proven track record of driving company-wide initiatives such as physical expansion, technology upgrades, or process overhauls

  • Project management experience in a general contracting or construction-related environment, with exposure from pre-construction through completion
  • Financial acumen: construction accounting, job costing, and work-in-progress schedules
  • Executive-level P&L management, including forecasting, projections, and margin improvement
  • Tech-savvy from A to Z: comfortable with Microsoft tools and experienced in leading company-wide software upgrades or implementations
  • Fundamental knowledge of how to read blueprints or engineering drawings

Preferred

  • 3+ years in an Integrator or equivalent executive-level operations role
  • Experience building a department or team from the ground up
  • Broader operations exposure: purchasing, inventory management, field, or shop leadership
  • History of strengthening culture through team-building initiatives or community service projects
