THE COMPANY – APRIL PARKER FOUNDATION

The April Parker Foundation is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering marginalized communities. We improve health, social, and economic outcomes by connecting individuals and families with the tools, education, and resources they need to thrive.

WHY WORK WITH US

At our core, we are a heart-centered, equity-driven social impact organization delivering innovative human services and systems-level solutions across five pillars: health, housing, economic equity, youth development, and community support.

Joining our team means stepping into a movement—not just a role. You’ll work alongside a mission-aligned team, gain direct access to our founder and executive leadership, and receive mentorship designed to support your growth as a values-based leader. We believe in bold leadership—not micromanagement. When you thrive, so does the mission.

As COO / Integrator you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a growing, multi-state organization. You’ll lead execution of our strategic plan, drive operational excellence, and build scalable systems that allow us to grow without compromising our community-centered values.

By joining APF, you become part of a collective effort to build security, opportunity, and generational transformation for youth, families, and under-resourced communities. Together, we are turning the tide—one life, one neighborhood, one future at a time.

OUR CORE FOCUS: Transforming communities by empowering sustainable futures

OUR CORE VALUES

We are True Believers in the mission, the people we serve, and the power of transformation. We don’t just work here—we live the purpose. We believe that change is possible, that every individual matters, and that our collective work is building something bigger than ourselves.

In order to execute True Behaviors, we have adopted the following six Core Values through the EOS® process and hold ourselves accountable:

  • Lead with Purpose: We stay rooted in the why behind our work. Every action we take is connected to our belief that communities can heal, grow, and thrive when given the right support. We operate with intention—never just to check a box, but to create lasting impact.
  • Speak Life into Others: We uplift, encourage, and believe in the potential of every person we serve—and every teammate we work with. Our words and actions reflect hope and belief, especially when others can’t see it for themselves.
  • Show Up Fully – Even When It’s Hard: A True Believer doesn't clock in and clock out of the mission. We rise in adversity with courage, resilience, and consistency, knowing our presence makes a difference.
  • Model Integrity in All Things: We honor our word, follow through on commitments, and lead with transparency. Our belief in the mission is reflected in how we manage our time, our responsibilities, and our relationships—with clients, partners, and each other.
  • Inspire Collective Ownership: We don’t do this work alone. We believe in the power of us—in collaboration, shared leadership, and mutual accountability. We create space for others to lead, grow, and shine.
  • Protect the Flame: The mission is sacred, and so is the culture. As a True Believer, we protect the heart of APF by cultivating joy, compassion, equity, and excellence in everything we do. We nurture a workplace and community where belief can take root and grow in others.
