RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Project Manager – Industrial Coatings include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee all project aspects from scope to completion, including material ordering, coordination with estimators, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with internal and external teams
- Balance office and field duties, managing administrative tasks, planning, and on-site supervision
- Proactively identify issues during estimation and execution to keep projects on track
- Recommend high-performance coatings and techniques tailored to project needs
- Enforce safety protocols with the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to ensure team well-being
- Serve as a primary client contact, building relationships and addressing concerns throughout the project
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to enhance project execution
- Cultivate relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials
- Lead and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative, productive environment
- Provide strategic guidance on industrial coatings projects, offering insights on best practices and emerging technologies during bid preparation
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of methods beyond estimation, adjusting approaches as needed based on project requirements
- Play an active role in the leadership team as the position grows, with the opportunity to manage additional project managers in the future
- Continuously improve project execution by spotting inefficiencies and implementing best practices
** This is an in-person position based in Fords, New Jersey, with both in-office and in-field requirements. Relocation assistance is available. **
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Experience managing industrial coatings projects (on and off site), including the coordination of resources, materials, and personnel
- Expertise in developing, managing, and tracking industrial coatings project budgets
- Strong skills in estimating project costs and scope
- Proven ability to balance both office and field duties
Preferred
- Experience managing industrial coatings projects specifically within water/wastewater facilities or related industries
- Experience collaborating with various level of management
Desired
- Previous experience overseeing the operations of water/wastewater facilities

Salary: $135,000 to $185,000 plus performance-based incentives based on project success and team achievements
