Salary: $135,000 to $185,000 plus performance-based incentives

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Industrial Painting and Coatings Project Manager/Superintendent include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all aspects of projects, from initial scope of work to completion; including ordering materials, coordinating with estimators during preconstruction, and ensuring the timely and on budget execution of tasks
  • Utilizes specialized knowledge of high-performance coatings to recommend appropriate products and application techniques for specific project requirements
  • Balance time between office-based tasks, such as administrative duties and project planning, and field-based responsibilities, including on-site supervision and management of project activities
  • Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all team members, working closely with the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues or challenges during both the estimation phase and project execution, ensuring smooth progress and timely resolution of any obstacles encountered
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering positive relationships and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have throughout the project lifecycle
  • Remains informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure projects are executed using the most efficient and effective methods available
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and equipment

** This is an in-person position based in Fords, New Jersey, with both in-office and in-field requirements. Relocation assistance available. ** 


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Experience managing water/wastewater projects (on and off site)
  • Experience with industrial painting and coatings

Preferred

  • Estimation experience
  • Field experience, physically working on water/wastewater projects

Desired

  • Previous experience overseeing the operations of water/wastewater facility
