GENERAL MANAGER / INTEGRATOR – COMMERCIAL FLOORING

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will oversee the company’s health, drive strategic growth, and lead key operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and team success:
Leadership
- Oversee all departments and personnel, setting and communicating clear expectations for performance and accountability
- Run weekly team meetings
- Conduct 1-on-1 Accountability Meetings with all employees
- Build out the accountability chart, fully defining roles and scaling business growth
- Promote strategic thinking across the team, guiding project managers to connect their work to profitability
Human Resources
- Manage communication and conflict throughout the organization
- Identify needed training across all teams and participate in identifying talent gaps to grow the team with the right people
- Foster a culture of growth, coaching team members to enhance their skills and take on new challenges
Communications
- Create a consistent flow of communication between leadership, field staff, and the rest of the organization
- Act as a representative of the company in internal and strategic discussions, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and values
- Provide feedback on projects up and down the organizational chain
Finance
- Gather metrics and reporting on profitability and project timelines
- Set a cadence with the Visionary to communicate financials
- Oversee the overall health of the company through P&L management
Client Management
- Manage processes and oversee the development of relationships with clients
- Manage contract creation, monitor risks, and enforce legalities with clients
Operations & Process Improvement
- Lead key functions, including Business Development, Project Management, Estimating, Field Supervision, Accounting, and HR
- Develop strategies that prioritize efficiency, reduce mistakes, and maximize current potential
- Implement EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) to align with company goals and roadmaps
- Build systems and processes that support growth while maintaining top-tier customer service and enhancing regional reputation
- Refine and create SOPs for consistency and efficiency
- Oversee the implementation of new software, ensuring full adherence across the team
- Enhance internal operations to support field teams effectively
- Keep all departments aligned and high performing, celebrating team wins and financial incentives as the company grows

*This is a full-time, onsite role based out of Charleston, SC*
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Commercial construction experience
- Experience overseeing a $7M+ operation at a General Manager level or higher
- P&L management experience
- Proven ability to lead teams across key business functions (operations, finance, HR) with 10+ employees
- Experience growing and developing teams in a small business environment
- Demonstrated experience implementing systems and processes to support business growth
- Proficiency with technology, including intermediate Excel skills and the Windows suite
Preferred
- Construction project management experience
- College degree in fields like finance, communication, marketing, business, or construction
- Understanding of construction contracts and legal aspects
- Familiarity with industry-specific software, such as CAD
Desired
- Flooring industry experience
- Familiarity with EOS and Strategic Coach methodologies
- QuickBooks experience
- Knowledge of industry software, including MeasureSquare

Salary: $120k - $130k + performance bonus
