PET MEADOW

INTEGRATOR

THE PERSON

Are you an execution-driven leader who can turn an entrepreneurial Visionary’s ideas into clear priorities and measurable results? Can you unify senior leaders, create organizational clarity, and build a culture of accountability and follow-through? Do you have the financial and analytical grit to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, influence sophisticated stakeholders, and help scale an organization beyond $100M?  If you are energized by turning ambitious vision into focused execution, we want to talk to you!

Our ideal Integrator is:

  • A Champion of Leaders: You confidently lead, manage, coach, and hold senior leaders accountable. You set clear expectations, address performance issues directly, and help leaders strengthen their ability to lead their own teams.
  • A Department Unifier: You see the organization as one business rather than a collection of individual functions. You break down silos, strengthen communication, and align Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, People, Technology, and other functions around shared objectives.
  • A Trusted Visionary Partner: You can work alongside a highly entrepreneurial Visionary without becoming a “yes” person. You listen, challenge constructively, push back when an idea does not financially, operationally, or strategically make sense, and help convert the strongest ideas into executable plans.
  • A Change Pioneer: You know how to move an organization forward while bringing people along through change. You listen before acting, communicate the why behind change, build buy-in, and help established and acquired teams successfully adopt new expectations, systems, and ways of working.
  • A Consistent & Reliable Captain: You bring stability to a fast-moving environment. People know what to expect from you because you communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and create the consistency necessary for others to execute successfully.

Our ideal Integrator understands this role is about more than keeping the organization on track. You report directly to the CEO / Visionary serving as the organization’s #2 executive leader. You bring high energy, clarity, emotional intelligence, and accountability to a rapidly growing business while turning concept into focused action and measurable results. You unite multi-site leaders, strengthen execution, challenge assumptions, and navigate difficult conversations with confidence and empathy while keeping teams focused on the right priorities. Most importantly, you bring the leadership, financial insight, and consistency needed to turn Pet Meadow’s ambitious strategy for growth into sustainable results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Integrator role include, but are not limited to:

Leadership

  • Partner with the CEO/Visionary to translate strategic ideas and long-term direction into clear priorities, actionable plans, and measurable results.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and hold the Leadership Team accountable for departmental performance, organizational commitments, and company goals.
  • Unify major business functions, break down departmental silos, and align leaders around shared organizational priorities.
  • Lead enterprise change associated with rapid growth, acquisitions, organizational integration, systems implementation, and evolving business practices.
  • Build strong relationships with ownership, the board, private equity partners, and international stakeholders by clearly communicating Pet Meadow’s strategy, financial performance, growth opportunities, challenges, and progress toward organizational goals.

Management

  • Drive Pet Meadow’s EOS® operating framework, including L10 meetings, Rocks, Scorecards, IDS, V/TO alignment, and disciplined 90-day execution.
  • Develop and manage enterprise operating plans and implementation roadmaps that connect annual objectives with quarterly priorities and day-to-day execution.
  • Partner with Finance on budgets, forecasts, profitability, cash flow, resource allocation, and investment decisions that support sustainable growth.
  • Evaluate strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and competing priorities to ensure resources remain focused on activities that best support company objectives.
  • Drive scalable systems, processes, technology, and best business practices that improve organizational performance and support continued growth.

Accountability

  • Establish clear expectations, ownership, timelines, KPIs, and performance standards across the organization.
  • Monitor Scorecards, financial results, KPIs, dashboards, and other business metrics to identify trends, surface issues, and drive informed decisions.
  • Identify and resolve cross-functional issues, facilitate root-cause problem solving, remove organizational obstacles, and mitigate risks before they impact performance.
  • Evaluate organizational structure, leadership effectiveness, and resource needs to ensure the right people are in the right seats as the company grows.
  • Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and follow-through by addressing underperformance, reinforcing commitments, and ensuring leaders deliver measurable results.
