RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Product Manager role include, but are not limited to:

Product Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Product Owners, setting clear expectations and elevating the quality of product thinking and execution
  • Foster a high-performance culture by modeling accountability, strong communication, and disciplined product practices
  • Provide direct feedback, support growth, and confidently address performance gaps when needed
  • Hold the team accountable for discovery quality, backlog readiness, and executions standards

Product Ownership & Roadmap Execution

  • Own and contribute to the product roadmap in partnership with the Head of Product and
  • Technology, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Drive prioritization across initiatives, balancing short-term delivery with long-term product direction
  • Maintain a clean, well-defined backlog with clear priorities, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure prioritization decisions are grounded in business impact, ROI, and measurable outcomes

Discovery & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Lead structured discovery with internal and external stakeholders to define problems, validate needs, and align on outcomes
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, business teams, and Engineering to ensure shared understanding
  • Communicate progress, decisions, and expectations clearly throughout the product lifecycle
  • Ensure all work is backed by clearly defined problems, quantified impact, and aligned stakeholders before execution

Process, Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Establish and reinforce disciplined product processes across discovery, backlog management, and delivery
  • Ensure all work entering development is clearly defined, actionable, and free of ambiguity
  • Partner closely with Engineering to support efficient execution, smooth handoffs, and predictable delivery
  • Eliminate gaps in communication by ensuring consistent, proactive updates across all stakeholders

Communication & Release Management

  • Drive proactive communication of product updates, release plans, and changes impacting customers
  • Ensure stakeholders and clients are informed, prepared, and supported through product release
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging, timing, and expectations
  • Continuously improve product processes and team effectiveness based on measurable outcomes and feedback

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track key product metrics to measure success and inform prioritization
  • Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, usability, and overall customer value
  • Leverage tools, data, and emerging technologies to improve workflows and team efficiency

Work Style & Environment

  • Work closely with the Head of Product and Technology and cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining alignment with leadership priorities.
  • Bring structure and clarity to a fast-moving, evolving organization.
  • Contribute to building a high-performance product team that values accountability, communication, and results.


** This is full-time, in-person position based in Owensboro, KY. **


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in software or platform-based environments
  • Previous experience managing or leading a team of Product Owners
  • Strong experience with product discovery, backlog management, and delivery processes
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering and business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience working with LMS or compliance-driven platforms
  • Experience in a regulated or operationally complex environment
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and documentation

Desired

  • Experience building or improving product processes within a growing organization
  • Familiarity with EOS or similar operating systems
  • Strong understanding of product metrics, KPIs, and business case development

Salary: $110k - $130k
