We are seeking an innovative strategist with a strong business and financial acumen who has their finger on the pulse of the company. Our ideal candidate has a growth mindset and can pivot conversations from coaching team members to seamlessly networking with high-level clientele.
The job responsibilities of our Director of Sales and Marketing include, but are not limited to:
- Creates strategy for large-scale opportunities
- Creates large-scale project accounts and a strategy to secure those opportunities
- Owns the LMA according to the accountability chart
- Owns the top line sales numbers
- Travels to and participates in key account activity, such as sales calls or other client events
- Owns the 3 and 5-year sales plan
- Creates departmental sales analytics reports
- Responsible for and maintains Total Security Solutions’ sales function
- Owns the sales and marketing budgets
- Owns the strategy and make-up of the sales team
- Oversees the marketing seat and provides guidance and feedback as appropriate
- Responsible for key marketing metrics, including lead generation
- Understands the market and Total Security Solutions’ uniqueness
- Facilitates a team approach between the sales and marketing departments
- Creates Total Security Solutions’ marketing collateral
- Guides marketing through the sales strategy and adjusts, when necessary
- At least 5 years in a sales leadership role
- At least 3 years at a director level or above
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time
- Marketing experience
- Proven track record of scaling a sales department or organization to $50m+
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years in a sales leadership role
- At least 5 years at a director level or above
- Construction experience
- Architecture experience
- Commercial doors and hardware experience
*This is an in-person position working out of the Fowlerville, MI location. **
Salary: $180,000 with up to $300,000 salary bonus potential!
