  • Learn and understand Shantz-Mantione portfolio management philosophy
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders in research, trading, and due diligence
  • Lead the Shantz-Mantione Investment Committee
  • Run regular SM IC meetings
  • Run semi-annual internal/external portfolio review meetings
  • Traditional portfolio Implementation
  • Build and maintain a repeatable, scalable process for managing margin risk exposure and options hedging.
  • Design, manage and maintain trading sheets with the help of our Upwork partners
  • Write weekly talking points for team members for the overall core portfolio and theme sleeves
  • Work with team to collaborate on delivery of timely change-driven communication pieces for clients
  • Coordinate with Senior Financial Advisors and Relationship Managers regarding client-specific portfolio needs
  • Manage a process for the creation, maintenance, and updating of our portfolio composites.
  • Prepare for and participate in client meetings to review and discuss portfolio composition and returns
  • Filter and read UBS as well as non-UBS research and commentary, i.e., Blackstone, Oak Tree, JPM Asset management
  • Build and maintain a repeatable, scalable process for managing compliance requirements & issues
  • Analyze prospective client portfolios for gaps, overlaps and opportunities.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Portfolio Manager experience
  • Portfolio Manager experience in managing assets/taxable accounts of people (not institutions)
  • Experience managing $50M+ in assets
  • Cross Asset experience
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses (Or can acquire within six months)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent navigating Microsoft Excel


  • CFA Charterholder
  • MBA
  • Have strong track record and background in equities

Salary range: Commensurate with experience and negotiable for someone bringing assets with them - $200-$225k plus bonus (potential $300k-$350k total comp)
